Heaven is all around, translated to sound

I love rising at sunrise.

This morning I was standing again at the balcony of my residence, enjoying the morning breeze, embracing first sunlight, feeling alive.

And a great way to carry on with this feeling is with great music:

Music is in our genes

It sure is. It is in our blood. It is in our DNA. Everyone should pick up an instrument and squeeze out at least a few notes banging on the thing. Because music is everywhere.

It is amazing how music can help bounce back from an adversity and restore harmony within yourself. I may be in low spirits, but after hearing a catchy jazzy melody soon feel revived again. A familiar feeling, isn’t it?

Well, maybe that happens because music is a bridge between heaven and earth. It builds bridges between people too.

Time stops when I play my acoustic or electric guitar. There is nothing except the state of “here and now” in its totality.

Music is one of the things that actuates me to enjoy every single minute of earthly existence.

Music is my garden of Eden.

Music Is Life

The last hero of Soviet rock Viktor Tsoi said in one of his songs that “death without music is not picturesque”.

He surely did have a good point.

Music is one of the oldest creative activities practiced by humans. Perhaps this is because we all have some kind of inherited ability to understand and create music.

After all, music is everywhere. It is in the sound of wind and the noise of traffic. It is in the roaring of waves and beats of a thunderstorm. It is in the twittering of birds and in the voice of those whom you love … All life is music.

Either if you’re in high spirits or deep low, music can be a remedy, an inspiration and a friend in one. Indeed, music is the bridge between heaven and earth.
