Clementi Heights is another typical HDB residential estate in Singapore similar to Casa Clementi, and located not far from it.
I ended up there on a Monday morning when checking out the Clementi Swimming Complex.
Monday morning’s traffic: view from the overhead pedestrian bridge across the highway to Clementi Heights.
A typical anti-rain and anti-sun pedestrian corridor leads from the overhead bridge to the sports corner.
This is very seductive.
Clementi Sports and Recreation Centre
Inside the Sports Centre: a great way to spend your Monday morning.
Table tennis and badminton matches are in full swing.
The area around the Sports Centre is very clean and tidy.
A lovely flower alley between the Sports Centre and the Swimming Complex
The Swimming Complex turned out to be closed for roof maintenance. Administration had kindly suggested alternative swimming sites.
A typical HDB apartment block building at Clementi Heights
Another irresistible sports corner is just next to the Swimming Complex.
View on Clementi Heights. Notice the house numbers on the walls – they are easy to spot even from a distance.
Multi-storey car park as part of the residential complex. The number of available parking slots is indicated in red. HDB parkings are usually underground or multi-storey like this one.
A driveway to/from Clementi Heights
There are clear signs indicating apartment block numbers.
