Yes, it is. And also for the weak, for losers and so on.
To hope is to wait for things to happen. Yet things don’t happen on their own. Things happen because somebody makes them happen. Hope is an excuse for waiting instead of acting.
“I hope everything’s gonna be alright.”
“I hope the crisis will be over soon.”
“I hope my dream will come true.”
If you wanna get nothing – keep on hoping. Go ahead, keep on your rosy fantasies and live on in your magic bubble.
There’s only one single case that might justify hope. This is when you’ve taken some action. Then you have the inner right to hope, meaning here “expecting with confidence”.
Otherwise hope is just another form of bullshit breeding complainers instead of doers and makers.
Hope is for the hopeless.
