The Law Of Attraction Is Bollocks

This is what Tim Brownson, an inspirational life coach, a brilliant blogger and simply an amazing person claims in his post: The Final Nail In The Law Of Attraction Coffin.

The post may seem harsh at first, but please read it through till the end. I recommend it to everyone who’s been desperately trying to apply the principles of the law of attraction (like visualization, for instance) laid out in the famous “Secret” movie.

I’ve been uncomfortable myself with the “Secret” movie in the respect that it misses out the main thing: nothing will happen until you take action.

You may sit in the lotus pose for hours mediating on such things as health and richness, but this will be nothing than a waste of time and mental energy if no practical steps are taken to achieve your ideals.

It took me time and pain to understand that action is indispensable. Visualization does work – but only if coupled with action. Period.

And leave “The Secret” for dummies. Unfortunately, this appears to be a feature of our time: if you want to grow, you must be able to distinguish the small grains of truth from the immense rubbish out there.

Tell true from fake – that’s what we all need to learn.

  1. I am sorry and in no way mean to demean you, but the law of attraction is real. The action you are talking about does come but it is sort of ‘inspired’ in a way. Hope you get it 🙂
